As I mentioned on Toto's Hunt/Shire thread it's been one of those weeks. Besides the DJH Hunt that I picked up off the GOG Sales I also ordered an MOK Ivatt 4F. Chris decided that I needed one after seeing one in the flesh on the Severn Valley a couple of weeks ago so who was I to argue... Photos when it gets here.
Just had a quick shifty at the MOK site again. Very nice Rob. You'll be dying to get your hands on that. Some of the detail is fantastic. Well done that man.
Superb service from Dave Sharp at MOK ordered Saturday morning and delivered today So what's in the box: Castings - There doesn't look to be any whitemetal castings at all. Revisions to etches and castings. Comprehensive Instruction booklet The various packs of etches Last but not least Slaters also delivered the wheels today.
Now that's what I call a REAL book of instructions Rob! Shame not many other kits are like this. (Or at least, not those I've so far come across) Keith.
me neither Keith, the next nearest that I have seen are the Martin Finney instructions and even they have been improved by the Finney 7 guys
Lovely. I can relate to the MOK kits first hand and they are very well presented. Beautiful kits. I'll look forward to seeing how you get on in general with it Rob Nd if you encounter anybussues which I doubt. Cheers Toto
That looks a cracking kit Rob and without a doubt you'll make great evening reading when you start this build ... it certainly makes a huge difference in comparison to that other Ivatt 4 kit which is not so well described in its sales pitch This kit is worth every penny without a doubt.
