Received a box of O gauge track from Hattons today so ready to crack on once the migration saga is over.
you are having a laugh ...... I need to get to my bed yet and that's exactly where I'm heading. Good to hear from you good sir. cheers toto
Hi Sol, forgot to say ....... a first class ticket Oz to UK on its way ..... I heard you are a dab hand at track laying.
Thought I'd better try the gallery out myself so ..... we should have ...... dismantling baseboards on Luib bridge .... and another now surplus baseboard ( scrapped ) and one of the two remaining and the second of the keepers and some of the hardware that was salvaged and there we have it. cheers toto
Seen this at the Glasgow show and took the opportunity to photograph it for a bit of a reference ........ I want to model an old disused wagon turntable at my carriage works. The idea being that the original, smaller works facility used the turntable but the facility has been extended and now the wagons are shunted in directly. Cheers Toto
That looks like a piece of cake for a bloke of your ability Toto...... You know there must be a kit or a ready made version somewhere..... Although O gauge may be the problem.?????......anyway I`m sure you could make that.....especially as it`s a non working turntable.....it`s purely cosmetic so the additional bits could be incorporated around standard track. You can have the one I've taken off Wheeldon. Chances are I won't use it. You will have to pm me your address again as its still in the old system, or if it still playing up message me from Faceache. Pete.
Some small wagon tables used to have capstains so horses could turn the table using ropes tied to the buffers. York Paul
Toto might have to get horses, as eletrickerty proved to be a bit problematical, it wouldn't be too bad but our beloved leader is an ex-sparky
Depends on the type of horse, after all you get saw horses, admittedly your not supposed to saw through them but hey ho The pressure will mount soon as I have almost completed my baseboards that will hold the bridge, almost sorted the wiring plan, lets see, single track + DCC mmmmm 2 wires I think, and 8 droppers, sorted Paul
I thought saw horses were only used in magic tricks..., "Now watch me cut this horse in two..." Cheers, Gary.
Who saw these horses...?????.....where were they...?????.......is Toto going to cut a horse in half.???...... Gormo
