    As I’m in the full swing of a house move modelling activity has all but halted.

    Here’s last years round up of St Stephens bank. The last tree arrived in December a birch again made out in France and I’ve got a horse chestnut to come. my friend recently had a King built and we see it here looking resplendent in ex works condition.

    IMG_8271.jpeg IMG_8263.jpeg IMG_8262.png IMG_8261.png IMG_8256.png A new project for this year and one that’s been a slow burn for 10 years or more. I’ve done lots of slices of engine sheds and I’ve wanted to do something similar based around a large station. It will be 5’ x 2’6” and very much inspired by Shrewsbury, Exeter st David’s, Newport high street and Birmingham snow hill. The arch retaining walls are by Intentio and was made for a layout and I’ll adapt them for my station.
    Intentio also do a GW footbridge which will be adapted for use as well

    The resin pour water scene with pot head sleepers and shallow grit ballast has got to rate as one of your finest micro scenes yet Steve... absolutely loving it.:tophat::tophat::tophat::tophat::tophat::tophat::thumbs:

    Now those sleepers are something you don’t see modelled every day.
    Some have recently been uneartthed during a station restoration in Derbyshire not far from me.

    As it’s a light railway I thought they would add some extra character. Once I’ve ballasted we’ve got some bars to add between some of the pots to keep the gauge.
