Afternoon! This is a little diorama I am working on at the moment. It's called Signs of Industry and the diorama will have little bits of evidence that some sort of industry was once here. As you can see the diorama is progressing nicely and the attention to detail, such as burnt of broken girders and reminance of a pipe bridge. I have added a skip which has been painted and weathered. I have uploaded a few pictures of my progress on the diorama.
Thanks for pressing the likes icon. Tomorrow I will be concentrating on adding grass to the opposite side of the tracks and adding colour and wire to the concrete fence posts.
This morning I have managed to add some more grass to the fence side of the track. This in turn will be weathered to produce dirt and grime in this industrial setting. I'm waiting to get some advice on my concrete fence posts before I paint and weather them. Some more items will be added to the skip and weathered up aswell.
Coming along nicely Mark, will you use wire on the posts or brass to represent steel tubing? Cheers, Pete.
Thanks Pete for your kind comments. I'm planning to just use wire as I have seen a few examples of these fences with just the wire.
Today I have been concentrating on getting the colours about right on my concrete fence posts. I'm happy with the way they look. Next the wire will be added to the posts and brushed with a rusty coloured wash with a little wash added also to the posts.
Morning, I finished adding the wire to the fence posts this morning and then weathering them up. I'm really pleased with the way the fence has turned out. At the moment in waiting for some gorse bushes to arrive so I can finish the areas by the fence. Here are some progress pictures..
