Thanks everyone who commented on the footbridge.:tophat:
I`ve added some more to it today in the form of ridge capping and weathering.
The weathering is most obvious on the roof ,and the side panels have had a very light dusting at the moment, and I will probably add more after I`ve let it sit for a while.
The roof was first streaked with Black, Orange , White and Green Crayon to build a base layer of distress.
The ridge capping is made from A4 paper and was first coloured with a graphic marker. The marker tends to penetrate the paper and colour it right through.
The ridge capping was then coloured with a Black crayon followed by an Orange crayon streaked randomly along it`s length before being applied to the roof.
Once all was in place a heavy dusting of chalk pastel was added and brushed in and the result is as shown in the pics below.

And some overall views to put it into context.

And now it looks like this

    And this end

    Now looks like this

The only thing missing from this superb bridge is that you didn't test your sanity in drilling out all those holes in the valancing !!! Again, it looks fab ! Crayons ! now there is something I would not have thought of in modelling ! Great idea !

    Take a bow Gormo !
